Jon Linchitz Personal Training

Hello and welcome!  My name is Jon and I will be your dedicated personal trainer!  A little bit about me…

I was an elite level athlete in rugby and track cycling for a total of 15 years. Combined with over 20 years of experience in personal training and my combined lifelong passion for fitness, I know what it takes to perform at your best and achieve optimal health.

My number one concern as your trainer is getting you the results you want safely and timely.  At your initial visit, we will discuss your goals, health and fitness history, and I will perform a comprehensive biomechanical assessment, testing your stability, mobility, and strength.

Once I have all the data, I will tailor a program specific to your needs and goals and share it with you on google docs. My programs are validated with over 20 years of personal experience, educational research and courses, and evidence based practices I’ve learned along the way.  Adherence to the program is crucial to your success and of course I’m always happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I have an MS in Teaching from the University of Long Island (LIU Post), certifications in NASM (CPT and SFS), ISSA Fitness Nutrition, Strong First SFG (Kettlebell Lvl 1) and ASTI (CPR/AED) to name a few.
